Компания Micro-Star International пополнила линейку материнских плат B450 MAX двумя новыми моделями: B450M Bazooka MAX WiFi и B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WiFi, которые получили увеличенную до 256 Мб (32 Мб) микросхему UEFI, что позволяет юзеру устанавливать на такую плату практически все процессоры AMD AM4 на архитектурах Zen, Zen+ и Zen 2. Это большой шаг вперед, так как на многих платах с чипами UEFI небольшого объема производителям приходиться жертвовать частью опций прошивки для того, чтобы отдать больше места памяти и обеспечить, таким образом, дальнейшую совместимость устройства с 7-нм процессорами AMD Ryzen. Однако MSI сделала прорыв в этой области, выпустив две новые усовершенствованные модели.
Спецификации и краткий обзор новинок
По предварительным данным цены на новинки пока не установлены, однако, если учесть тот факт, что прообразы MSI B450M Bazooka и B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC распространяются по цене в 95 и 135 долларов, то новые модели будут дороже всего лишь на пару десятков долларов.
Поскольку официальных данных о платах пока нет, то судя с представленных MSI фото можно сделать несколько выводов. MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon MAX WiFi – это классический представитель форм-фактора micro-ATX со встроенным модулем Wi-Fi. Для подключения накопителей или видеокарты имеется два слота PCIe x16, четыре слота для модулей памяти DDR4, слот Turbo M.2, интерфейс USB 3.2 Gen1. Для воспроизведения звука есть подсистема Audio Boost. Система охлаждения представлена несколькими массивными радиаторами в области северного и южного мостов. Система питания реализована по схеме 8+2.
Что же касается B450M Bazooka MAX WiFi, то теперь плата может похвастаться беспроводным модулем Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Плата типоразмера ATX получила следующие технические характеристики: один слот PCIe x16, два слота PCIe x1, четыре разъема для модулей оперативной памяти, два слота M.2 с радиаторами для SSD, две пары портов SATA 6 Гбит/с, два порта USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-A и Type-С), четыре USB 3.2 Gen1 (Type-A), а также модуль проводного и беспроводного сетевого подключения. Звуковая подсистема Audio Boost 4 представлена кодеком Realtek ALC1220.
Обе модели будут представлены в апреле. Предзаказ моделей пока еще недоступен.
